I like adjustable handles so I can make it whatever length I need. I am very tall and lots of bags have handles that are too short for me. I only buy leather bags because they last longer, and unlike the poster above, I do NOT buy a bag I like if it is too expensive. Since I am not someone overly concerned with fashion trends, I get fairly simple bags in neutral colors. And I will not spend more then $100 on a purse.
